Last week, one of our practicum sessions was to deliver a speech which we had composed in the preceding two hours (no pressure!) on the topic “Why I Am Pro-Life.” This may sound simple to you, dear reader, as I am sure you can spout off any number of reasons as to why you are pro-life. However, we all know why we are pro-life in our brains. Our hearts are another matter entirely. Here is a modified-for-the-page (i.e., more polished) version of the speech that I gave last Thursday to my classmates and practicum instructors.
